The Board will hold its Regular Board Meeting on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 7:00pm.
This is a public (Open) meeting. Members of the public may access the meeting by coming to the meeting location. Please note: All attendees should be aware that open meetings of the Board of Education may be filmed/recorded and/or streamed online by local media or others.
The Board of Education meeting location is: Jessica Buckner Administration Center, 525 E. 162nd Street, South Holland, IL 60473.
Board of Education Negotiations (Collective Bargaining) Meetings with the DEA - Closed Meeting

The Board of Education will meet in a Closed (Executive) Sessions with the District Education Association (DEA) for the purpose of collective bargaining on the dates listed above.
The meetings will be Closed for the purpose of: Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2).
The location of the meetings will be: Madison School, 15700 Orchid Dr., South Holland, IL 60473.
South Holland 151 Board Member Celebrates 30 Years of Service
Board of Education President, Mrs. Patrice Burton, will celebrate 30 years of service as a member of the School District 151 Board of Education with a 30th Anniversary Celebration Reception!
The 30th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 5:00pm at Madison School.
Board News & Recognition!
Board Members of the South Cook Division of the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) gathered on Thursday, March 13th to participate in board development & celebrate their achievements!

SHSD 151 Board members Cynthia Shane and Michelle Turner also attended and a great time was had by all with a workshop entitled, “Dollars and Decisions: Leading Schools Through Uncertainty” by Dr. Ann Williams. 
South Holland School District 151 Receives Unexpected Recognition via South Cook Division Meeting Workshop!

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, I attended the Illinois Association of School Board’s South Cook Division Meeting workshop entitled, “Dollars and Decisions: Leading Schools Through Uncertainty!”
Suddenly, I found the workshop’s presenter, Dr. Ann Williams, mentioning our school district as one of her workshop examples of District/School successes!
She showed the slide below during her presentation and I was so very proud of our District’s work! The entire group of approximately 100 individuals applauded us! Thanks so very much Superintendent Dr. Hill, Administrators, Faculty, and Staff for all of your hard work! It’s appreciated and certainly lets others know, “What an AWESOME District we have!”

2024-2025 Board Meeting Dates
The Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for the first Monday of the month except for the months of July, September, and March.
A Committee-of-the-Whole meeting will be held prior to the regular Board Meeting. Items on the Agenda will be discussed, however, no board action will be taken.
